Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of a well-established client in the Cookstown area.
The role will involve leading a team of around 7 warehouse operators, overseeing the day-to-day inbound, storage and outbound movement of pallets.
The successful person will also be working closely with an important customer account, so reliability, organisation and a strong work ethic are important.
The Role
Lead and support a team of around 7 warehouse operators.
Oversee the inbound, storage and outbound movement of pallets.
Allocate daily tasks and make sure work is completed efficiently.
Ensure stock is handled, stored and moved correctly.
Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation.
Help maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Monitor the team's performance and help resolve any issues.
Support and develop team members.
Identify ways to improve processes and productivity.
Work closely with management to ensure customer requirements are met.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be someone who is keen to learn, wants to progress and has the drive to improve themselves and those around them.
The client is ideally looking for someone with:
Previous warehouse experience.
Previous team leading or supervisory experience would be an advantage.
Good communication and organisational skills.
The confidence to lead and support a small team.
A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail.
The ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
A genuine interest in developing their career.
Warehouse experience is preferred, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
