Aer Temp are now hiring for an Experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
Job Purpose
This is a key role for someone with proven sales and recruitment experience to manage and grow a warehousing and industrial industry recruitment desk, delivering high-quality staffing solutions to clients while developing long-term relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Management & Business Development:
Manage existing client accounts within the warehousing and industrial sector
Develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
Understand client staffing requirements, shift patterns, volumes, and compliance needs
Negotiate terms, rates, and service agreements
Recruitment Delivery:
Source, screen, and place warehouse and industrial candidates
Fill roles including warehouse operatives, pickers/packers, FLT drivers, supervisors, and managers
Manage high-volume temporary recruitment and permanent placements
Ensure candidates are fully vetted, compliant, and job-ready
Coordinate bookings, shift cover, and workforce planning
Compliance & Administration:
Ensure all candidates meet legal, right-to-work, and health & safety requirements
Maintain accurate records within the CRM/ATS
Manage timesheets, payroll liaison, and margin control
Ensure service delivery meets SLAs and KPIs
Leadership & Desk Ownership:
Take full ownership of desk performance, revenue, and growth
Mentor junior consultants or resourcers where required
Contribute to branch targets and strategic planning
Act as a senior point of contact for key clients
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant/Sales
Strong billing and sales track record
Experience managing high-volume temporary recruitment
Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Desirable:
Experience with onsite or managed service contracts
Knowledge of logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments
Leadership or mentoring experience
